Get Started – A CO.STARTERS Workshop to Help Launch Your Business
August 24, 2021 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Get Started is a three-hour workshop that gives you the tools to get your startup business idea moving forward.
Are you thinking about starting a small business? Are you considering turning a hobby into an enterprise? Have you started a business but can’t really get past GO? Would you like to meet others with similar goals and objectives? Would you benefit from meeting other members of your community and making valuable connections. Does connecting with experienced mentors who can help you along your entrepreneurial journey sound good to you?
Get Started workshop developed by CO.STARTERS
This is a low-commitment opportunity to explore your idea or startup. Join us for a 3-hour , in -person workshop that will equip you with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn your idea into a business.
Whether you are just getting started, stuck on a particular issue, looking for new ways to do business as we emerge, or in need of a refresh look, this workshop will give you the jumpstart to get moving. You’ll meet people in the same place you are and collaboratively you will develop the skills and tools to look objectively at your idea.
3 Parts – 3 Hours
As you work through 3 critical areas of your business idea, you learn how to simplify your startup idea and break things down into bite-sized pieces.
- Part 1: Explore Your Idea – Get your ideas out of your head and down on paper with a customer-focused view.
- Part 2: Refine Your Model – Find ways to “start small” and refine your ideas using customer feedback.
- Part 3: Define Next Steps – Walk out with actionable steps that you can take to move your business forward. Plus you’ll have new friends and resources to help you succeed.
The Get Started workshop is the ideal first step for you to learn about the upcoming 10-week CO.STARTERS CORE program coming in September. It’s also a great way to meet Reinventing Rural Ambassadors and will be facilitated by Brad Attig, Reinventing Rural Ambassador.
